If your response to the question “What does success feel like?” is “I have no idea” or “I think I know but I’ve never experienced it,” then you’ve already identified the problem holding you back from achieving a successful life.
The secret to success—both personally and professionally—is creating feelings within you that emanate an energy matching the life that you want. You get back what you give out, so what are you giving out from an energy perspective? Once you know this, all you need to do is generate energy within you that matches the future you want. Soon after, more opportunities to experience that life will start to arrive with ease instead of stress.
Let me explain more clearly. Ask yourself these questions:
You can’t, or you will manifest situations or people that only lead you to more of the same.
We tend to focus on where we are now or where our lives are lacking instead of prioritizing how our future could feel. It’s hard to feel good feelings if you’re struggling or feeling frustrated over what you are dealing with today. Believe me—I understand and have to work on this myself.
If you keep focusing on today while wanting a better tomorrow, though, you’ll continue to experience more days like today. Your focus, instead, needs to be on how the hope and anticipation of tomorrow will feel. This shifts your energy from a low vibe of struggle to a more open and expanded feeling of success.
I’m not saying this is always easy, but it’s simple.
Throughout my research and travels, I have learned how to elevate my own mood and find an energy of success. These secret tips I’m about to share with you are simple, straightforward ways to help you improve your mood, which will enhance your life.
The key is to always notice how you feel and ask yourself, “What are these feelings creating in my life?” Feelings influence the energy you are giving off and will impact your life. Awareness is the first essential step to prepare for a shift.
Does something in your life have you worried, concerned, or stressed out? If so, focus on something that feels better instead. Focus on a loved one or a pet or the incredible miracles of Mother Nature that surround you. You don’t have to feel better about a particular subject that’s causing you stress; you simply need to feel better, in general, to achieve better results in all areas of your life.
This is why those who only speak about a positive mindset miss this crucial tip. Forcing a positive thought about something you’re upset or fearful about just creates more of those low-energy feelings. My remedy for this is to walk away from the subject for a while. Grab a fresh glass of water, go outside, walk your dog, or dance and sing to your favorite tune for a while. These tips will increase circulation and blood flow to your brain so you feel energized and think more clearly immediately. You can revisit the concerning issue once you feel better and have more energy, clarity, and confidence for finding solutions.
The more elevated and expanded energy you put around that subject, then, will improve it with less stress and more success. Solutions you may have never even thought of may appear once you stop giving all your energy to the problem!
Determine how you want your life to feel, and create that feeling now. If you want more success, you need to feel more successful. Gain clarity first so that you know where you need to be energetically and then find ways to create that feeling now. Try using the power of your imagination, practice appreciating all that you have now, or do anything that you love to do that makes you feel happy and abundant.
To me, success feels easy and open. All good things flow to me, and from that place of abundance, great things flow from me into the world and those around me. How truly inspiring and fulfilling this feels!
Now that you’ve gotten this far, what does success feel like for you?
Deliberately and intentionally do anything and everything to create that feeling before you go to bed at night, when you first wake up, and throughout the day. Use these four tips as a guide to creating the feeling you want, and walk through them often to maintain that feeling. Once you get the feeling you’re after, practice getting there until it becomes easier. Continue to reach for that feeling, especially right before you take action.
When you take action each day from a place of positive anticipation and experience excitement about all you are creating today that will ensure a bright tomorrow, things begin to flow.
I have found that I can enter that place where I feel the flow of ease and abundance through quiet prayer and meditation. Once I get my busy head out of the way and generate that feeling before bed and again in the morning, it’s easier for me to find my way back there. If I wait until the day gets busy and chaotic, feeling the energy of success is more difficult and sometimes impossible.
